Android FX Errors:
These are the most common errors that will prevent editing with FX.
Error: Assets are downloading
In order to use the FX editing feature, you must allow the FX effects to completely download into the editing session before adding an FX effect to your photos. Depending on the type of network connection for your device, this could either take a few seconds/minutes to complete downloading. The downloading of the FX assets begins whenever the VSCO app is launched or when you’re inside the FX editing flow.
Error: network/connectivity issue
Please check your device network connection to allow the FX assets to complete downloading. If your device is set to only allow downloading on a wifi network, please make sure your wifi network will allow the connection and is running at optimal.
Error: insufficient storage
Please make sure your device has at least 100 MB or more to download the FX assets.
Error: Permission issue (ex: ACCESS_DENIED, APP_NOT_OWNED)
Please make sure you have the Google Play Store app installed on your device and that the VSCO app that’s currently installed was downloaded from the Google Play Store. VSCO for Android Update.
Error: Others
We’re sorry you’re still experiencing issues with downloading the FX assets. Please try to force-quit the current app session, then relaunch the app. If the issue still persists, submit a ticket. We’re happy to help.
