What is a VSCO Membership?

A VSCO Membership includes many benefits:

  • New Classic and Film X presets
  • All 100+ classic VSCO mobile presets*
  • New VSCO mobile presets

*Limited time presets such as Krochet Kids, Street Etiquette, etc are not included and no longer available.

How do I sign up for a VSCO Membership?

You can now become a VSCO Member by tapping on Shop in your Studio, or by editing with a preset preview in the Edit view.

From here you can activate a free 7 day trial.




What is Film X?

Film X is VSCO’s next generation presets. Film X includes new advanced controls for Film X: Strength, Character and Warmth adjustments.

The following Film X presets are included in a VSCO Membership and continues to grow.

Can I purchase any presets, tools or other items a la carte from the VSCO Membership?

All benefits that come with a VSCO Membership are only available within the membership and are not sold separately. 


How much is a VSCO Membership?

$19.99 USD per year.


How can I view my VSCO Membership benefits?

Tap on the VSCO Membership icon in the top left corner of your Studio or tap on the bottom right 5th tab in the VSCO app if you have this. 


How do I cancel my VSCO Membership or request a refund?

To cancel your membership you will need to reach out to Apple Support or Google Play Support as VSCO Support cannot cancel memberships or provide refunds on the behalf of VSCO Members. 


When does my VSCO Membership end?

Your VSCO Membership will end 1 year after your start date. Please note that your VSCO Membership will renew automatically. If you wish to change this, please see make this change in your device settings. VSCO Support cannot disable your subscription settings for you. 




Is there an option for a monthly subscription for the VSCO Membership?

We do not offer this option at this time.


How can I pay for a VSCO Membership and how am I charged?

You will pay for a VSCO Membership through either the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store depending on your device.

You will be charged at the end of your free 7 day trial period and all future charges are paid yearly from the start of the VSCO Membership.


How do I update my payment information?

You will need to update your payment information in your device settings.




Can subscriptions be shared?

Your VSCO Membership is tied to your VSCO Account and cannot be shared.


What happens if I cancel the VSCO Membership?

The VSCO membership benefits such as presets, tools, and editorial content will no longer be available to you. 


What is the refund policy?

All payments are made at the end of the free 7 day trial and occurring every year after for the membership period. VSCO Support is not able to process refunds. Please reach out to Apple or Google to request a refund.

Will my VSCO Membership automatically renew every year?

Do I need a VSCO account to obtain a VSCO Membership?

Yes. You can register for a VSCO Account within the app.


Can I use a VSCO Membership on an iPad?

Yes! However, you can not capture photos in the VSCO app from an iPad. 



Will I still have my previously purchased presets if I do not renew my VSCO Membership?

Yes! You will retain any previously purchased presets if you do not renew your membership. 


Will the VSCO in-app shop be available with a VSCO Membership?

You will no longer see the VSCO in-app shop after becoming a VSCO Member. All free and paid presets available in the in-app shop, including Film X presets, are included in your VSCO Membership.*

*Limited Time presets are not included in a VSCO Membership and are no longer available. 


Will I be charged for a VSCO Membership at the end of my free 7 day trial on iOS and Android?

Yes. If you do not opt out of the auto-renewal for a VSCO Membership at the end of the free 7 day trial period, you will be charged by Apple or Google.

How do I retrieve my VSCO Membership if it is missing?

First, we recommend to sign into the same VSCO account that you were signed in with when you purchased your VSCO Membership with. If you still do not see your VSCO Membership, please go to Settings>Support> and tap on 'Restore VSCO Membership' You can find instructions on how to access settings here. If you continue to have trouble locating your membership, please see the following article.


Can I edit images from my digital camera with a VSCO Membership?

Yes! You can import any size JPEG or RAW (iOS devices only) into VSCO and use any VSCO preset on the image.
