VSCO Film for ACR 9, 8 & 7: I shoot in JPEG, can I still use VSCO Film?

Yes, you can use VSCO Film to process for JPEG images in ACR 9, 8 & 7 by using the standard version of VSCO Film. Although we do highly recommend shooting in RAW. Shooting in RAW allows you to get maximum flexibility in editing as well as more dynamic range and color control.

ACR 9, 8 & 7 users will have great results using the "JPEG Contrast Fixer" tool in the toolkit.

Here's the steps for Adobe Camera Raw 9, 8 & 7:

1. Select the VSCO Film preset of choice in the "Preset" panel.
2. Apply the "JPEG Contrast Fixer" in the "Preset" panel.
3. Adjust the contrast slider found in "Basic" adjustment panel.
