Sharing The Location of Your Images

Before you can share your location on your images, you must enable your location options in the settings of VSCO and your device system settings.

For VSCO:

To access the settings, tap on Settings.jpg and then on Profile.jpg .

Tap on "Privacy", and then tap on the circles to enable or disable location data (privacy) on your photos.

For iOS settings:

Navigate to iOS Settings>Privacy>Location Services. 

Location services must be enabled.

Next, make sure your camera location services are enabled.

From Location Services, navigate to Camera and select 'While Using App'.

This will ensure your location data is captured and stored in your image. When you import this image to VSCO the location data will be embedded in the file.

For Android settings:

Navigate to Android Settings>Location>

Location services must be enabled from this screen.

DSLR / SLR / non mobile phone camera source:

Navigate to your camera's settings option and make sure location data is enabled, if this option is available. If you don't see this option, please contact your camera make / manufacturer to determine how to enable location data on your images.

 

To share your location tap on ico_Location.png. You have the option to enable or disable the location before publishing. You are not able to remove or add the location once the image has been published.
