VSCO for iOS: My VSCO Presets are not working

If your VSCO preset thumbnails have changed color it is due to a corrupted download of VSCO.

In order to fix this you will need to make sure you are on the most updated version of VSCO for iOS. Then restore your thumbnails to see if this helps your issue.

To restore thumbnails, open VSCO & navigate to your Library, then tap the menu icon at the bottom left. From here, tap Settings > Support > Rebuild Thumbnails. This should rebuild the previews of your images within your library, as well as completely re-download your VSCO Presets. Please make sure to connect to a very strong cellular or wifi connection during this process.

If you are still experiencing an issue, backup your iPhone and all of your VSCO images before deleting and reinstalling VSCO.

To do so:

First, plug your phone into your computer and pull up iTunes. Select your iPhone device at the top right. Under the backups in the summary, choose iCloud for your computer. Then click Backup Now.

Second, if you just want to backup the original images from your library, you can do so through iTunes during your next wired sync. This will copy the original, full sized and unedited photos to your computer. We have a great article with step by step instructions on our support page here:

After you have backed-up, please delete VSCO. From here, again, please make sure to connect to a very strong cellular or wifi connection & reinstall VSCO . If you are missing a few library images, or your purchased presets, please tap rebuild thumbnails once more.

**Please note, this backup restores only the original images and not the edited images. If you would like you save your edits, be sure to export your edited images to your Camera Roll.**

If you are still experiencing an issue after this series of processes, please send us 1-3 screenshots of the issue you're seeing so we can dive a little deeper. I do hope this helps!
