One way to optimize your Adobe Lightroom CC, 6, 5 & 4 performance while using VSCO Film is to increase the Camera Raw cache size. If you increase the cache size, it can store more image data, which in turn speeds the generation of previews of those images.
To increase the Camera Raw cache size, do the following:
1. Choose Lightroom > Preferences (Mac OS) or Edit > Preferences (Windows).
Click the File Handling tab.
In the Camera Raw Cache Settings area, increase the amount. You can experiment the with the amount to increase, however Adobe recommends 10GB or more.
