VSCO Film 06: What is push processing?

Push processing can often be used in shooting film. It is when a film is shot at a higher ISO speed than what’s listed on the box. When developing it, you tell the lab that you want push processing and they change the development times to compensate for the change. In general, push processing results in higher contrast, more grain, and often brighter colors.
