VSCO is a community for expression. Our mission is to enable you to fall in love with your creativity, find and elevate your voice, and provide a safe space where your privacy is respected at all times. To do so, we have created tools and settings to protect you and prevent abuse.
1. Location - If you don’t want your followers or anyone using VSCO to know where the images you post were taken, deactivate this feature in VSCO. If you decide to use the share location feature, we encourage you to be respectful of people's privacy and to only post images of people who are comfortable with you sharing their location publicly for anyone to see.
2. Reposts - All images you publish to your VSCO Profile can be favorited and republished to another VSCO creator's Reposts. You can remove any of your images from another creator's Reposts.
3. VSCO Username - You do not have to use your real name when creating a VSCO Account. If you’d like to, you can change your username and update your profile information. Please note that while we allow anonymous use of VSCO, our policies prohibit impersonation.
4. Deleted Content - If you have deleted content from your VSCO profile or have deactivated your VSCO account but they are still appearing in search engine results, please contact the search engine in question to request the removal of the content.
5. DMCA & Trademarks - If you see an image that is your intellectual property (an image you took), you can report it by filling out the DMCA / Copyright Form. If you believe that any content on VSCO infringes upon your trademark, you can report those violations via our Trademark Infringement Reporting Form.
6. Private Information - For your safety, you should not post any private information about yourself on your VSCO account. If you find that someone else has posted your private information without your permission, please report it so we can take appropriate action. Exposing, threatening to expose, or encouraging others to expose a person’s private information is against our Community Guidelines.
What information is considered private?
- Contact information that is not in the public domain such as phone numbers or email addresses;
- Mailing addresses, somebody’s physical location, and any identifying information of private addresses such as GPS coordinates;
- Identifying documents such as government-issued IDs, social security numbers or national identity numbers that are private in their region;
- Login credentials to online services;

7. Reporting- If you discover any content or conduct violates our Terms of Use, you can report it. For further instructions, check out How to Report on VSCO.
8. Blocking - If you would rather not allow certain VSCO users to interact with you or your content, you have the option to block them. For complete details, visit Blocking on VSCO.
