Black, white, and blurred
The B4 preset makes for a classic monochrome look that emphasizes light and composition, rather than color and saturation. By blurring your lens, light morphs and smears, casting a dreamy effect across the frame. Try adding a bit of Vignette to accentuate the central subject.
Faded low contrast
This recipe boosts tones from the dark shadows through the bright highlights of your video, creating a washed out effect. When combined with Fade and a low contrast preset creates a sense of nostalgia – try experimenting with presets from the Valence pack (V1-V8. The flickering is achieved by gently tapping the lens while recording.
Color and HSL
Vibrant, and mesmerizing, this look focuses on accentuating color. HSL controls the hue, saturation, and lightness of the colors in your scene. By neutralizing certain colors and emphasizing others, you can fine tune objects to have more or less of a presence. AU5 is the perfect preset for creating a bold, saturated look.
