Look up, look down.
Stop and look. What do you see? Try to take images from multiple perspectives. Notice how the clouds pass, shaping the light, and how the ground is often a worthy subject. When shown together, the photos will pull whoever is looking along for the ride.

Texture and pattern.
The world is filled with details that often define more obvious subjects. Trees weave together into larger canopies and water can carve miniature deltas into the sand. Trying using a black and white preset to draw even more attention to subtle details while using Contrast and Clarity to define edges.

Find the light.
If you’re not sure where to start, follow the light. Try using shadows to layer subjects or use direct light to add some flare. Afternoon sun can bring harsh contrasts and warmer hues, while the evening can create moody, blue tones.
